I"m 3 months into a quest to change 1 routine a week. 1 routine spread across 5 areas of life.
Health, fitness, wealth, relationships and purpose.
After 3 months of dipping my toe in the ocean I'm seeing so many dramatic results that I thought I'd share. We know the enemy of progress is the comfort zone, and yet it"s so named for a reason. Comfort equates to status quo, which ironically isn't a state of comfort but a habit. Even misery is comfortable on some level. Anyway, like the introduction of some foreign species into an eco system, small changes compound fast.
Some routine changes that I've made recently.
Quitting sugar, breakfast, and most simple carbohydrates. Adding a new routine of eating only twice a day with a 17 hour fasting period. Revisiting the gym after nearly 4 years absence. Reading and watching empowering content for 69-90 minutes a day. Supplementing with MCT coconut oil and magnesium. Getting up an hour earlier, and most recently introducing a cold shower into the mix.
The new routine involves creating at least one empowering habit a week and incrementally building on it. It's my #betterversionproject and so far the results have been pretty extreme.
