No problem, I knew 'one day' I'd change my habit, after all wasn't I once an international athlete? 'One day' alas rarely shows up. 12 years after my first notion of building a business I actually STARTED. Turned over $15 million in year 1 and kicked myself for not starting earlier, 12 years earlier!
This morning I was up at 6, used to be 7.30. Cold shower, once unheard of and at my office at 6.50, used to be 9.30. Meditated for 15 minutes, bulletproof coffee in lieu of having exited breakfast from my life, filmed my first FB Live and interacted with half a dozen aspirational people by 11 am. Brunch at 11.30 after my now customary 17 hour window between last and first meal, low carb, eggs, avocado, bacon and 1 slice of sourdough toast, not in any parallel universe is this a diet ( but has resulted in sub 10% body fat for the first time since I was 18.)
Take away thought. New habits like cold showers are bracing but 10 fold more effective than resolutions. Not preaching, but health, fitness, wealth, relationships and life purpose require habit adjustment.
