Intuitively a small percentage of us have a nagging feeling that we could be, do and attain so much more, If only we could tap into a minuscule of our potential. The core precepts of success are not unknown. We have access to the insights of almost every high achiever on the planet. Patterns can be discerned, and whilst genius may seem elusive, the reality is that most successful endeavour is attained by individuals much like you and I.
What separates those who achieve and those who morph into the disappointed mainstream of those who give up on their dreams? At Elite Performance Academy, we would suggest 'very little!' There are Tipping Points prior to all success, alas most fail to anticipate that it's always darkest just before dawn. In other words you may well be on the cusp of real success in your life and just not realise it, before walking away.
The intention is not to be too dramatic, but the point needs making. There is a reason why some people wake up in the morning with a sense of destiny, mixed with a dose of frustration. Unambitious people do not have this gnawing problem. Our intelligence does not lead us down blind alleys. If you have a passionate desire to accomplish something, you must have the capacity, if not currently the belief or strategy, to manifest it.
The most profound wisdom that has its expression literally all around us, is that thoughts become things. Pyramids did not appear by accident. They were an impossibility that found existence in the grey matter of someone's imagination. Most of our technology that we take for granted today, would have been an impossibility a mere 200 years ago. Wireless technology, satellite global positioning, heart transplantation and modern engineering in general, all sprung from an initially crazy thought.
In this context do you really think your dreams of better health, fitness, relationships, financial security, making a difference in the world and waking up truly ecstatic every morning are unattainable? Of course not. I doubt anyone reading this has a tangible goal they could not attain. If that is the case, what's stopping you?
The purpose of our workshops, is not to 'teach or inform' you on the how. You will figure that out if you have enough inspiration, belief, confidence, perspective and perseverance. Unlike the song "two out of three ain't bad", tipping points are only attained when ALL the prerequisites are in place. Our vision at Elite Performance Academy is to guide you, support your vision and tweak your perspective. What do I mean by perspective?
An essential ingredient of living a happy life is Life Balance. Our goals must be congruent with our core values. For example, if our core values are inclusive of family, health, fitness, prosperity and contribution, then we'll need to align our goal chasing activities accordingly. If one of your goals is to earn $1million dollars a year, but the price is a potential loss of family due to absence, would the attainment of this goal really have any value? I suspect not. If your goal is to compete for Australia as a triathlete it is unlikely that you will have the time and energy to simultaneously build a successful business - not impossible but the point of course is that we need to be mindful of how we align our goals within our Life Balance objectives.
